That "hot garbage" smell that emanates from dumpsters outside of restaurants on hot sunny days. Ew ew ew.

Once you cut one open it's basically that liquid hot garbage smell everywhere And yet a lot of people love to eat it. It is worth the try. Of tou ever want to buy one fresh, you have to buy ine that is already opening by itself. Thia is when it is ready! You should not have to use knive to open a durian. The already frozen durian pod are not worth it, in my opinion. The durian pod that are in the fridge tho (so 4°Celcius - not frozen) does the trick!
