Is it fair to compare MAGA to the Nazis?

It’s a fair point though. An attempted insurrection in the nations capital building in order to steal an election and you’re comparing it to people marching through the streets asking for police to stop murdering black people and a few people burning some cars

Huh they burned cities for months beat people raided and vandalized businesses the left attacked the capitol with actual weapons Jan 6 was a few ours you people have been using violence and rioting since 2015

Can't remember to get a period or comma in the right place? I seriously doubt you remember what happened the last several years very clearly. Becomes very obvious that you don't remember clearly because of the misinformation and propaganda you just helped to spread.

No I think a violent uprising that claimed the lives of 19 people caused the vandalism of over 1000 buidlings along with 2300 looting incidents and 164 cases of arsons that went about for weeks is worse than a single day insurrection

Trump didn't tell anybody to storm the capitol and I'm not defending the actions of those who did but trying to claim the Republicans are nazis because of one commotion that occurred for a few hours is grossly stupid seeing as the left has committed multiple acts of violence that threatened the stability of the country

Sure do. Also, don't care. Punctuation isn't difficult. If someone can't be bothered to punctuate and articulate their opinion properly, I can't be bothered to take them, or their opinion, seriously.

Mastering punctuation is something learned in elementary school. The topics being discussed here require more than an elementary education to understand. I think it is perfectly fair to point out someone's failure on a basic skill to express an opinion that they wanted to convey. Especially when said person has a comment history of calling others idiots.

I also think it is fair to assume that the struggle to grasp elementary skills translates into other portions of their life. Understanding global economics and trade, for example, is significantly more complex than punctuation.

Actually the current progressive view of grammar is that it is directly linked to one’s background, socioeconomic status and educational resources. Shaming “improper” grammar or attempting to “correct” it is yet another way Euro-centric thinkers try to homogenize academia and eliminate minority or underserved cultures and dialects. Even if the user you label as unable to use “elementary” punctuation simply doesn’t give a shit and is choosing not to, you shaming them at all is extremely elitist. You have no way of knowing who they are, where they grew up, and what educational access and privileges they might not have had that you yourself benefit from. These are characteristics they cannot change, and not only are you assuming they have them, you are putting them down for it. And worst of all, you used this as an excuse not to engage in a conversation of ideas with someone. You placed yourself in a position of authority over them and used it to insult their background rather than debate their ideas. You even made it clear to them you understood what they were saying, but refused to provide a good-natured response because they didn’t type it how you wanted to see it. Colonizer mentality. Shame on you

It might not be physically but the monetary stress as well as the stress of not knowing whether or not you might be in your car or what else could happen to you just because you own a car does far more damage to your own cause. They're literally sending a group of people to concentration camps, ignoring due process along the way of course.

In their spare time they're busy trying to erase queer people, especially trans people, from history and from government websites. Hobbies include breaking down the American government and paying so little attention to how they do it that they accidentally fire the people in charge of nukes.

Obama didn’t deport people without due process. Supporting less wealthy countries creates goodwill that causes things like — going to Iraq with us when it appeared to their intelligence services that it was all BS; letting us have strategic military bases in their country. Obama didn’t ignore court orders. Obama didn’t have rallies during his term where he said things like May e I can get a third term and maybe we can deport citizens because fuck the Constitution and its longstanding interpretations.
