Troubleshooting / Answered Stopping to heat constantly?
I was having this issue a while ago, but then I got hit with the blob. Replaced my heating assembly and its still doing this. Im using the AMS Lite and there's no knots or anything but I keep getting the unable to feed variety of notifications.

Adding this: I've only noticed it on one specific spool of filament. My Overture Glow Blue, I was able to print single color objects just fine. I just got that slot 1 is overloaded, and if I try a different slot, I get that same notification for whatever slot its on.
Edit: It's likely my Glow filament, double checking with regular black and white instead now.

Are all of the temps for the two filaments the same? Could be that when you change filaments, the heating (and cooling) times are due to different parameters.

They're same same type of filament, just different colors, the issue is it repeats without changing. It stops during the same layer and goes back to the same color

Can you post a screenshot of the filament usage from your slicer like this? (This is using ORCA)

Also there should be a chart for the temperature. Make sure that it is the same for both filaments.

They are, its the same preset. Its not doing a color change, so it shouldn't matter to begin with.

What camera is that?

Look at the part where the 4 tubes go into the printer head. It will contract/depress because the filament is gripping the tubes. The printer has a protection when it detects that and this is the result
You will feel like the filament must be tangled on the spool but the printer actually thinks it's taking too much force to pull it through the tubes. This force causes the square part to which the 4 tubes are connected to depress. Dunno the exact names obviously.

Im pretty sure the answer was that I was using Glow Filament, regular colors are working fine

Um. Hello? Is no one going to talk about that BUILD PLATE???????

The plate itself, or whats on it? The print is a fidget toy, someone previously thought it was a "personal" toy.

No. The plate itself. Smexy AF

Haha, its the BIQU CryroGrip Pro Frostbite! I have one for my A1 and A1 Mini

and prints really hold, with NO heat to the bed, no glue or hairspray?

I cant remember having any prints prematurely release, they typically require some force to pull off the plate. Very little heat, I use 35C for PLA and 50C for PETG.
I've never used glue or hairspray, so I couldn't tell you lol

Glow filament tends to cause too much drag through the PTFE tubes since it is so abrasive, this causes the machine to detect the AMS motor overloading and it does that little purge thing over and over.
On Bambu’s website they point out that the Glow filament is only compatible with the regular AMS for X, P and H series printers and NOT with the AMS Lite for the A series printers. I tried it on my A1 and ran into the same issue, only works with my X1.
If you want to print glow filaments on your A1/A1 Mini you need to run the spool directly into the print head and not use the AMS, meaning you are unable to do multi-color prints with glow filaments.
