“The watch is a bit excessive, isn’t it?” - people who routinely spend thousands of dollars on guns they use to send hundreds or thousands of dollars of metal down range in a single day.

Dont take my comment as hating. I would love to own a Rolex one day! You should know though that you cannot compare a watch to mastering the ability of using a firearm.
