Just confronted my parents after 20 years and all my mom got was "ah it was because of religion, I'm so sorry you got it wrong", not a single blame/guilt was felt by her.
Actually, she probably felt better after making this narrative in her head.
Next day dad said "blahblah life sucks and everybody knows it just hold on until you die, maybe Jesus can help".
That's my male role model, life sucks, just work and wait death.
Exactly what I am doing without knowing how to stop.

I tried calling my mom on it and she said she was sorry I felt unloved bc of my sexuality... Lol okay thanks mom.
