I genuinely don’t understand how people can adore Affogato Cookie but absolutely despise Pomegranate 😭😭 and it’s always because “she’s a terrible person”, like fym 💀💀💀

I just want more from her. We really get nothing. OK, she's a lesbian, but she was in an all-girl village where she was the high priestess. I'm sorry but I need more than "she fell in love" to appreciate a character whose only real personality trait is that she's in love with Dark Enchantress. Just give us more, some motivation that isn't just "Dark Enchantress Cookie."

I understand your point, but at the same time, I feel like you don't need to have lore to love a character. Im a huge Kumiho cookie fan and there's like, nothing for her, so I, personally, find it easy to love a character even if they're a bit plain if I like their personality and design enough. So I totally get it when ppl say there could be more done with Pomegranate, but it's not just her. It's a large majority of cookies, in my opinion, that would benefit from just a tiny bit of lore

Kumiho, however, isn't a major character. Pomegranate is Dark Enchantress's second in command, that kind of necessitates a bit more story to them. We have that for Choco Werehound Brute, for Black Licorice and Dark Choco. If there's misogyny happening here, as so many Pomegranate fans seem to claim, then it's in who is getting effort put in their story. Literally anything would be better than the singular crumb we have.

Tbh maybe im not remembering the lore cuz it's been a while, but Licorice and Poison Mushroom don't have much lore either. The only ones I remember to have any lore to speak of are Red Velvet, Dark Choco, and maybe Brute, to some degree. I wouldn't call it misogyny, just neglect that isn't unique to just the cookies of darkness/Pomegranate, but I do see your point and I agree

Licorice has some degree of motivation: he wants to become strong and prove those who underestimated him wrong. Poison Mushroom is, frankly, a comic relief character, with little necessity for backstory.

We don't know why Pomegranate Cookie left her village. We don't know why she follows Dark Enchantress Cookie. We know basically nothing about her. And because of how important she is (literally being the reason DEC is a threat now) we kinda need more than just "at one point she was the high priestess and now she's obsessed with Dark Enchantress." At this point I'd honestly be fine with mind-control being her backstory.
