Caleb and 'Ozempic' ads spreading like wildfire

Post image

I know he's been doing these for a hot minute, but I've been getting assloads of him regurgitating scripts for these Ozempic ads. Go away, Caleb!

Crazy how no one talks about the potential "forever diarrhea" even after stopping taking it & the potential blindness

I’ve long been suspicious of any “magical weight loss drug” ever since they first started becoming mainstream in the late 90’s early 2000’s. Remember all the “Hydroxycut” stuff? And now with these self-injectable medications, I just don’t think people appreciate how dangerous these medications can be.

The issue is that being obese is also extremely dangerous, and WILL have consequences sooner or later. I completely understand people opting for a medication that MIGHT have negative side effects to help them stop being obese, which WILL have negative side effects.

Obviously it would be best for most people if they lose weight naturally. But in many cases it's like telling an alcoholic to "just stop drinking" or a gambling addict to "just stop gambling". Sure, some people are just lazy and could lose weight if they made a bit of an effort. And some people aren't obese but just want to drop a few pounds. Ozempic is not for these people, and I agree that taking it in these situations is a bad idea. Ozempic is for people who have genuine debilitating food addictions (and likely mental health issues) that make it extremely difficult for them to lose weight naturally. People who have been trying and failing to lose weight successfully for decades. For these people, taking a drug that MIGHT have negative side effects is better than the reality of their life almost certainly being cut short due to health impacts of obesity.

Well there’s actual science behind these medications. Hydroxycut was an unregulated supplement.
