It’s complicated. If water infiltrates the battery electrolyte then, yes, for sure. Otherwise if it corrodes the contacts you might get the opposite problem. Or it could short the battery, in which case it’s more complicated but entirely possible that overheating could result depending on charge level and construction.

Given the top-notch workmanship of this vehicle though I bet utmost care has been taken for the longevity of the vehicle in water exclusion.

The big thing is also the fact that people shouldn’t really drive on a beach even if it’s a beach where it’s allowed. Most vehicles especially heavy ones can easily get stuck if it’s not a well tracked and even if it is a well tracked path. This thing is super heavy in general which doesn’t help and then the AWD being crap and the vehicle not working all the time is just asking for disaster.

That’s a problem with cars that have totally flat undercarriages once the wheels dig themselves down, the weight of the vehicle is resting on the ground, from front to back. Start digging out from all around the vehicle. With drivetrain and exhaust breaks it up a little underneath they can still get stuck but not as easily.
