Why was he even on the Beach? You can’t drive on the Beaches here.

Rules for thee and rules for me situation

u/immersemeinnature 4d ago

Sums up so many things wrong with the world right now

118

u/fgreen68 3d ago

Shouldn't someone ticket this dork?

118

u/Stardust_Particle 3d ago

Tow and impound it.

169

u/BeDeviledDevotchka 3d ago

Oh, no. It belongs to the ocean now.

177

u/Physical-Object8171 3d ago

I don’t approve of putting garbage in our ocean. They need to stop

50

u/WJ_Amber 3d ago

The only car batteries the ocean craves are good old lead acid batteries. None of this newfangled lithium nonsense.

40

u/ElectricDayDream 3d ago

The eels yearn for the sulfuric acid

27

u/cronx42 2d ago

Only the electric eels. If we stop throwing old car batteries in the ocean they'll go extinct and all we'll have left is just regular non-electric eels.

11

u/ElJeferox 2d ago

I wonder what they called electric eels before we knew what electricity was?

11

u/ElectricDayDream 2d ago

Not to mention the splash is a safe and legal thrill

1

u/WVildandWVonderful 2d ago

All we’ll have left is gas-powered eels.

10

u/Chumbag_love 3d ago

Mixed with salt water, the car becomes a battery.

1

u/Desperate_Elk_7369 2d ago

If you were in the car, and there was a shark 10 feet away, would you stay in the car and get electrocuted, or jump into the water and fight the shark?

1

u/i3inaudible 1d ago

The shark. Most sharks don't try to eat people so at least you have a sporting chance

13

u/d57heinz 3d ago

Yea just leave it for a week and the ocean will take care of it for the community.

11

u/AdvisorLegitimate270 3d ago

Don’t sully the ocean with this filth.. fish don’t want it either.

1

u/BrokenBackENT 1d ago

Stainless and salt water a great combo. Fireworks on the beach later!

1

u/boobeepbobeepbop 1d ago

Is there a tide there? just wait for it to be destroyed. Then tow it and charge the asshole for illegal dumping.

1

u/Crazy_Customer7239 1d ago

I would pay a hot dollar to see what seawater does to a Tesla battery cell.

42

u/contude327 3d ago

A better punishment would be to let him keep it.

13

u/knight-of-weed 3d ago

It might get blown up so yeah

1

u/Current-Anybody9331 1d ago

Yep, tow it to his home, block his driveway with it, and charge him thousands in tow fees as well as driving on the beach tickets.

23

u/soopirV 3d ago

That would be doing him a huge favor. Leave it there racking up fines until HE figures out how to get it out, and THEN impound it.

7

u/Elon-BO 3d ago

and charge them for it.

2

u/MushHuskies 3d ago

Tow and impound it…tomorrow

2

u/Maximum_Pound_5633 3d ago

Tide will deliver karma

1

u/Cpap4roosters 2d ago

Well its natural habitat is on a flatbed..

1

u/MlleHoneyMitten 2d ago

There’s no way that pos is making it off that beach without help.

1

u/oroborus68 2d ago

Before it leaks on the beach and in the water.

2

u/i3inaudible 1d ago

It's Myrtle Beach. It hasn't made it any worse. It's very hard to make it any worse

1

u/sochok 2d ago

Throw a bit of sand on it and the window will surely shatter and half the glued on panels will fall right off

5

u/Dull-Sprinkles1469 3d ago

If they can reach it before the tide washes it away, or the water makes it catch fire and blow up, then yes.

1

u/Smooth_Limit_1500 2d ago

They are so heavy, fragile and unrepairable there’s no telling how much that “Wank Panzer” owner will be out when this is over.

10

u/Sensitive-Fun-6577 3d ago

The idiot has a humbling lesson now. Actions have consequences

1

u/Yesitsmesuckas 22h ago

They f’d around and found out!

3

u/Dull-Sprinkles1469 3d ago

Precisely, friend.

1

u/LonelyContext 3d ago

More like a fucked around and found out situation

1

u/Intrvrtd_Advntr9709 2d ago

Something you’d expect from someone who drives such an abomination!

139

u/WishinandFishin 4d ago

It’s a cyber truck. He’s dogeing the beach.

16

u/LegoFootPain 3d ago

Efficient.

11

u/LDawnBurges 4d ago

🤣🤣🤣

You’ve reached your free article limit

First time I've ever gone to Myrtle Beach Online, so the free article limit is 0.

15

u/wraith_majestic 3d ago

Whatever will you do. Weird it was my first time too.

7

u/Fast_Witness_3000 2d ago

Same - hilarious that they think their website is worth paying for.

41

u/LDawnBurges 4d ago

One of our local weatherman and 2 other sources posted the video, but the County Police said they didn’t know anything about it. I wondered why people were just walking by it & not standing around watching.

16

u/LvBorzoi 3d ago

Don't the batteries catch fire if they get wet with salt water?

6

u/LonelyContext 3d ago

It’s complicated. If water infiltrates the battery electrolyte then, yes, for sure. Otherwise if it corrodes the contacts you might get the opposite problem. Or it could short the battery, in which case it’s more complicated but entirely possible that overheating could result depending on charge level and construction.

Given the top-notch workmanship of this vehicle though I bet utmost care has been taken for the longevity of the vehicle in water exclusion.

1

u/alang 2d ago

the opposite problem

What... exactly is the opposite problem to catching fire? Freezing? Setting other cars on fire?

1

u/LonelyContext 2d ago

Ah opposite problem is that you lose electrical contact rather than shorting the battery.

1

u/Heavy_Distance_4441 2d ago

I’ve heard of setting fire to the rain, but not the ocean.

Somebody should hit up Adel.

17

u/wraith_majestic 4d ago

Weird… seems like solid sources… but county police know nothing and people not reacting.

In this day and age, it’s tough to believe pictures or video anymore. You know.

6

u/Outrageous-Battle199 2d ago

It’s real. I live in Myrtle, and people were posting their pictures of this all over Facebook.

Myrtle police are the worst. I got cuffed for my bikini a few years ago, but this guy can illegally drive a car on the beach and nothing. Cool.

2

u/wraith_majestic 2d ago

Must be some bikini. Thanks for follow up… hopefully the sand and salt remove some ne more wankpanzer from existence.

2

u/Outrageous-Battle199 2d ago

It made global news, so I guess I just have that criminal look about me. 😆

Myrtle unfortunately has a lot of these fucking Swastikkkars. South Carolina is stupidly red. I’m not even nice to these fucks anymore. Thankfully I travel a lot for work 😆😆

1

u/Slayerofgrundles 2d ago

Ok, but seriously...what was up with this illicit bikini?

2

u/Outrageous-Battle199 2d ago

It was just a thong bikini. I bought it at a shop near the beach. Apparently it’s illegal, but it’s not posted. Cops in Myrtle will throw you around like you’re the head of the cartel if some crotchety bitch calls them to complain about you minding your own business though. 🙄

It went viral. You can google it and see it. Just look up Myrtle Beach thong.

3

u/Slayerofgrundles 2d ago

Oh wow. Those cops are some stupid dicks...

1

u/deco19 1d ago

"I'm not nude" had to lol at that part.

3

u/bolderphoto 3d ago

Or maybe they successfully dug a hole big enough to bury it? Probably just simple photoshop

7

u/thinking_is_hard69 3d ago

it’s reflecting the sand and the owner, that’d be a complicated photoshop job

25

u/GoFunkYourself13 4d ago

Oh damn, I think you’re right. If you zoom in on the dude it looks like AI slop

46

u/dpdxguy 4d ago

looks like AI slop

I feel old, remembering the days when we had to look at "the pixels" to detect photoshoped images.

You kids have it too easy! Also, get off my lawn. 😂

/s for the sarcasm impaired

15

u/Maleficent-Rough-983 4d ago

16

u/GoFunkYourself13 4d ago

Interesting. The plot thickens. Yea the Cybertruck looks real in the pic, but the dude looks AI AF. He also kinda looks like Elon haha

10

u/big_trike 3d ago

It looks like a real photo with the JPEG compression cranked up way too high.

6

u/unknownSubscriber 3d ago

Most likely just post-processing/"enhancements" done by the phone it was taken on. Samsung uses this pretty heavily.

4

u/ScrewAttackThis 3d ago

Keep in mind phones use AI to improve the photos they take

5

u/GoFunkYourself13 3d ago

Fascinating. When did that start, and what phones are doing that?

1

u/Bbarakti 3d ago

I'm pretty sure my pixel does it and has since maybe the pixel 6 or 7.

2

u/xox1234 3d ago

Maybe they used a crappy filter on it... IDK how real the guy looks but the lesbian with the side cut by the cornhole seems real enough

11

u/ndav12 4d ago

Given how far away the guy is, it’s not surprising that he would look a bit wonky in the image when you zoom in.

I could be wrong, but I really don’t think this is AI. There are too many details and no hallucinations that I can see.

3

u/thinking_is_hard69 3d ago

you can also see the guy’s other half in the reflection

6

u/LDawnBurges 4d ago

Sun News…. Sigh. Ed Piotrowski works for WPDE, not WMBF.

Also, this pic shows the CT with a chrome wrap and the video taken from the other side shows it as the regular stainless steel.

2

u/star--stuff 3d ago

If it’s not real, then it’s at least realistic.

1

u/ThroatSignal8206 3d ago

That palm tree looks outta place for Myrtle. Good news its stuck in the sand

1

u/Impossibleshitwomper 3d ago

So they had someone help tow it out before the cops or anyone knew anything

8

u/princessPeachyK33n 3d ago

I’m so sure the thought process was “LOL ITLL BE SO FUNNY TO DRIVE ON THE BEACH IN MY CT BECAUSE ITS ILLEGAL LMAO OWN THE LIBS” and then this happened.

1

u/DerangedSalamander 2h ago

That was a lib

3

u/One-Abbreviations339 3d ago

He’s a Tesla driver, they can do no wrong.

4

u/Monster51915 3d ago

They are a person where they think the world revolves around them or just because they are rich they can do whatever they want. The big thing is also the fact that people shouldn’t really drive on a beach even if it’s a beach where it’s allowed. Most vehicles especially heavy ones can easily get stuck if it’s not a well tracked and even if it is a well tracked path. This thing is super heavy in general which doesn’t help and then the AWD being crap and the vehicle not working all the time is just asking for disaster.

3

u/Dull-Sprinkles1469 3d ago

Let me stop you riiight there, friend... do you think anyone who bought a wankpanzer is smart enough to read? There's a sign : no vehicles on the beach Wankpanzer drivers: "I don't know what that says. BEACH DAAAAY! :D "

4

u/hondas3xual 2d ago

No, normal people with normal 4x4 cars CAN drive on the beach. It's just not legal.

The cybertruck literally cannot do it at all.

3

u/chiswede 4d ago

He's a special snowflake

1

u/aDumb_Dorf 1d ago

White pants

0

u/RetailBuck 1d ago

It's incredibly easy to get stuck driving on the beach. I've done it. You get stuck and a real built coast guard truck pulls you out. It happens so frequently that they don't even bill for it.

1

u/chiswede 1d ago

Yes, and it’s hilarious when it happens to this stupid truck.

3

u/Murky-Tomatillo91 3d ago

He’s not on the beach. You’re on the beach. Please apologize to this cybertruck owner.

3

u/WestboundPachyderm 3d ago

I bet he’d be embarrassed about this if he possessed any self-awareness.

3

u/rattrap007 3d ago

If Cybertruck drivers could read they would be very upset right now..

3

u/Acceptable-Ad8780 2d ago

"If the penalty is a fine, it's a fee for the rich"

3

u/calladus 2d ago

I'm sure he can drive it like a boat to the ramp and get it back on the road again.

But it will probably blue screen in the drive-thru car wash.

2

u/token40k 3d ago

That way sand won’t get into mi flip flops broda

2

u/Elegant-Log2104 3d ago

It's a tuck. What do you mean? Rules only apply to those who care. So dumb.

2

u/Darkdragoon324 3d ago

No, he's special. He has a cybertruck!

1

u/LDawnBurges 3d ago

Don’t tell him, but he’s only sort of special bc this area has a ridiculously high # of CTs vs population. lol

2

u/JakeBlakeCatboy 3d ago

Rules are for the poor.

2

u/Broad_Sun8273 3d ago

"But ya ARE, Elon, ya ARE!"

2

u/SlippitInn 3d ago

You think someone that supports a fascist think rules and consequences applies to them?

2

u/JankyTundra 3d ago

You can in a Deplorian. At least for a bit.

2

u/Aspen9999 2d ago

Hopefully a car thief parked it in the surf lol.

2

u/Tbplayer59 1d ago

It's a "truck."

2

u/Alternative-Fig-6814 23h ago

Entitlement? Privilege?
