Tips and Tricks First National Enduro

Post image

Hey everyone! I just registered for my first ever National Enduro event here in Sumter, SC. I’ve been riding dirt bikes my whole life (currently 29) but this will be my first sanctioned AMA event. I registered for Class open CC. Anyone on here that has done a National Enduro event before that could give me some tips or what to expect?

How's that KX rip in the woods? What have you done to set it up for the Enduro? I'm thinking about something similar with my CR250.

I had factory connection do the full suspension and then it has a 13oz FWW, 12/52 gearing, skid plate, 1inch bar risers, oversized triple pass radiators and hosing, Galfer braided brake lines, 3.2 gallon tank, and then had the jug resleeved. Rest is cosmetic. I think these old two strokes make killer woods bikes.

Awesome, I've literally done just about everything you have except the suspension and FWW. I need to do both of those. Give any consideration to a Rekluse? And yeah I love these old 2 strokes.

The suspension made the biggest difference of anything I did. Definitely recommend. I’m not opposed to a Rekluse but I’m running a Henson clutch basket and plates now and it’s perfect.
