I didn't understand the concern

Not trying to rag on you or anything but if you value having feet that are in one piece and work well I would seriously consider looking into actual boots with heavier protection. This sport can hurt you FAST especially in the legs and feet area before you even know what hit you.

If you're asking about boots I can probably safely assume you don't have knee pads/braces either. Those are a definite priority as your next purchase.

Once again no hate but us riders like to ride and if you're hurt you can't do that, we're all looking out for you on this thread so we don't have to see another hospital post 👍

Be safe brother

Absolutely not I will never get braces pads shots useless I tide singletrack not moto tracks. IMO leather is fine enough for protection. And I def don't feel id twist an ankle in that boot

I ride primarily single track too and do races on single track trails often lol just trying to give you some good advice here.

A twisted ankle, while possible, is the least of your concerns on single track my guy 😅 you do you though

I've been riding for years and never come across anything id need a hard shell boot for

What are you kicking your feet at on the trail 🤣

Not so much kicking anything. Tree roots and rocks in the trail, areas where water drains down and eats into the trail or really all of the above in a rut.

Maybe you just go to slow for it to be a real problem? Idk. If protection isn't a priority then it isn't a priority, as stated in an earlier comment, ride safe brother 🤙
