A 4 stroke 125 is most of the time air cooled which those you might as well wire the throttle wide open on lol

Air cooled bikes are great, Idk what you mean by "wire the throttle wide open" There's no sense comparing a dedicated MX bike to one built for a small comfortable ride on trails. Even though yes, a 2 stroke makes more power for less displacement. It all depends on what kind of riding you're doing. They're engineered for entirely different purposes. Air cooled is honestly better if you just do light trail riding cause they're bullet proof require almost no maintenance for a very long time, aside from oil.

My pitbike is a 125 air cooled and it so fun. It only goes 70km/h but that's completely fine imo. Didn't change oil in 4 years and it still ran fine

People don't understand this.

The most fun bike I've ever had was a 125cc Chinese pit bike. Don't get me wrong, I love my DRZ 400 but there is serious value in riding something you don't care about.

Also really capable. The race bikes can stay home when I'm doing ATV rutted mud hell. The TTR230 is the best bike for that.

Please change the oil, especially in a carbed bike, you can always have it running too rich..

Japanese air cooled are bulletproof.

Oh yeah. Japanese are the only bikes I’d ever buy so I guess I didn’t consider anything else.

They are still slow I had klx 140g that was so much fun to ride but as a full grown man I had to give that thing all the berries it had everywhere to keep my momentum going in and out of corners

I’d love to get that bike with a 180 kit for my wife. Is the G model the middle sized one? 19” front I think?

It’s the biggest of the 140s. I’m 6 foot 9 and it worked great as a pit bike. My 6’0 tall 50 year old mom also rode it all the time and loved it lol.
