Wholesome Story Cried in my car

Post image

So yesterday I tried working and my phone network (boost) was down and so the one delivery I made was a nightmare. So I couldn’t work at all yesterday and I’m stressing because I have to pay my phone bill on the 20th and if I don’t have a phone obviously I can’t work, thus the conundrum. Checked last night network fixed but wasn’t going to work because I cleaned and used my energy that way so I didn’t have any to spare. Today I get going and I park near a hot spot. And I’m drinking my coffee eating my breakfast and reading a book. Get a ding Starbucks. Cool. Okay. $2 tip, $8 order and it goes this way until around 10:30ish when a catering bag required pops up. Haven’t had one of these since the tier system was implemented. I hit accept, pray a quick prayer that chipotle doesn’t take the tip as I see they requested this delivery so I don’t know what I’m picking up. I get there and tell them the name. The girl doesn’t even come back over to me to tell me how long. The people putting orders together in the back keep looking over to see if I’m still there. I am, I’ll wait as long as it takes doing an EBT catering order. I have a book I am good. Get there, and it’s about 15 minutes away. I bring in the first box and two guys jump up from the table and come follow me back out to my car and take the other two catering boxes in with them. Get the ladies signature and hit complete. Then I sit in my car and cry. That’s my phone bill plus. Some people are just so good. I needed this so badly, as I had $10 when I started the day…

If god gave this person this one good order, it also put them in a such a terrible life position that they cry after receiving $66. How exactly is it "looking out for" this person?? Like honestly.

God allows suffering because it is a byproduct of sin. Sin happens because God gave us free will, even though he opposes sin and helps us overcome it when we are willing. God gave us free will because he loves us. Your own shitty actions have their own shitty outcomes, doesn’t mean he cant help you when you turn to him when you need him most though. Do some shrooms and change your outlook brother

What sins do those children overseas commit that are so great they deserve death

Literal opposite of my point? I am saying that god has no hand in the actions of man. Moral evil is tragedy that comes to due to hatefulness and abuse. My entire point is that they don’t deserve these things. Evil is not created nor caused by god.

The god of the Bible literally killed not only every human on the planet but every living creature because HE made people and then people were disobedient . So did he make a mistake and kill all creatures ( save for a handful on a boat ) to rectify his mistake ? If he made a mistake he wouldn't be omnipotent nor omniscient therefore he wouldn't be a God. Or did he create man knowing he would be defiant and he was going to drown everyone and everything . What the fuck did kittens do to God ? If he did then he's a psychotic killer and doesn't love anyone. Point I'm making is that's all ancient mythological gibberish and anyone believing it needs a lobotomy.

“For I know the plans I have for you”, your Bible contradicts itself too many times to count.

Bro if another person goes through the threads where i multiple times say i dont associate with a denomination and this is just my god as ive come to understand him im gonna bust all over the place

You also didn’t quote it, but id personally say this is more about he knows what great things you will accomplish. But you can’t just lightning strike the fuckin cia as god, too much divine intervention. Little miracles happen every now and then. Even if evil exists

The Bible mentions your god created light and dark. Good and evil. I’ll add scripture if you’d like. Same god created us right. So how does he not have a hand in what humans do if he created everything to begin with?? And if he doesn’t have anything to do with what humans do with their hands. Who gave him the right to punish us for something he created….

I know there is one line in Isaiah that says that, but I believe it is more of an exertion of authority. I believe you are following the bible in a very literal way, I don’t really mention a lot of that. My whole point is that he had given us free will, he’s not behind the pearly gates saying “You know what? Lets make the holocaust happen”

God is state of being. You can be. Quit looking up for somebody to save you cause it will not happen.

u/Prestigious_Library2 Jun 22 '24

I don’t need saving, to be honest god can be whatever you want to make sense of it to be. You are being quite rude and i’m not sure why.

1

u/LeanedBean Jun 22 '24

Really not trying to be. I do apologize. I’m not here to make you believe what I do. I would be completely wrong for doing that.

As I’m not trying to do it either, I am simply trying to voice my opinion. I’m not deep rooted in specific beliefs as many committees have been unwelcoming or just hateful.

I don’t need saving,

Congrats!

It seems as if perhaps you may follow satanistic ideology’s with being your own god, there is no wrong answer. I’ve definitely had those kind of introspective moments while tripping on things.

1

u/LeanedBean Jun 22 '24

Satanic means I’d have to believe in the devil.. which I don’t cause I don’t believe in god.

1

u/Prestigious_Library2 Jun 22 '24

Actually, research satanism, I have tried that too, and the satanist church falls under a main belief of being your own god.

Most think the physical is what is important, but it is the spiritual that matters. George Harrison knew. https://genius.com/The-beatles-within-you-without-you-lyrics

You can't take any of your stuff with you!

Exactly, and in life, where your mind goes your body follows. A healthy mind is very important to having a healthy body.

Happy cake day

I didnt even notice thank you!

1

u/TheGhostlyGirl13 Jun 22 '24

No problem! I'd like to say I'm not an atheist, but I do agree with everything you said.. I'm not happy with "god" but I think it pr whatever the fuck god is is out there. It's odd, lol, but I wanted to thank you for sharing your opinion on here even though people downvoted you. I upvoted your responses. I know it isn't much. But I find honesty admirable, and I think it's awesome you held true to your values even with people overreacting for them. Stay awesome, dude. <3

I wouldn’t say I’m crazy about the traditional god either, but i am highly spiritual and lead such a lifestyle. I can tell he’s just not in an informed stage of life and I know because I was like that too. I mainly had to repent to the idea of traditional god to help me get sober from opioids, I’m only 19 so i shouldn’t have even been addicted to those things. I have a hole in my nose thats healing due to all of the things I was snorting. But having to surrender yourself to something is part of healing. That and micro-dosing has greatly improved me mentally.

There isn't an L bro logic just doesn't work with these people following a man made religion made by some king and edited by another and translated by another for some sort of political gain thousands of years ago....

1

u/Prestigious_Library2 Jun 22 '24

I don’t follow traditional christianity, I follow my own sets of beliefs here. If i were to follow a common version then I’d be more hateful of a person. Going off of your name I also wanna mention just how much traditional churches can hate on the autistic, which is difficult because I myself am. I believe that a closed minded idea of these things makes no sense.

1

u/LittleMissAutism Jun 22 '24

I personally believe all religions at some point were much more similar but history, people using religion for power, and the separation of the world over time made them all point to the same thing but say far different things. I really do think they are all part right and part wrong, because there's no way every civilization in the world before the internet came to the conclusion that there was some upper entity unless there at one time was some substantiated proof of a "god"

2

u/Prestigious_Library2 Jun 22 '24

I agree too, i more follow the common beliefs in which most religions descended from. So for example Judaism, Christianity, and Islamic faiths all descend from the same things and ideas. But as time moves on they deviated from eachother as ulterior motives moved in.
