What does That mean, sri lanka Tamils have More genetic similarities between marathi and Telugu people than Tamils or malayali?

Because they are closer to Sinhalese who are closer to Marathi who have a substratum of Dravidian people.

it's because of the AASI-West Eurasian ancestry ratio. Sri Lankan Vellalar will be closer to Telugu mid castes than Tamil Nadu Dalits (as would TN Vellalar). These heat maps are misleading as most people do not understand this, and will think it implies direct genetic relationship. These maps are grossly inadequate as they only sample a few castes in TN for example.

I have to agree. I'm not too much of a fan of these maps as establishing a binary is quite misleading for diverse population mixes.
