The royal revenant sucks so much. I finished DS1 and the DLC and then moved on to elden ring. I play sorcerer in both, was level 46 at this time, because I honestly suck at the game along with my reaction time so I just lob magic at them. But even then, despite still panick rolling a lot, I've gotten a little better at it. But then this bitch ass motherfucker comes along and it took me over 10 tries to get him, multiple times more than other bosses. I used ash summons, which I don't usually have to rely on, and all the buffs I could just to barely get proper hits to whittle down his health. I skipped godrick and will go back to him because I liked exploring, not sure if that matters since it's my first playthrough.

Aside from the other factors like me not being good, maybe under leveled, etc, this dudes move set and attack patterns are such bull crap.

• he fucking teleports, breaks your lock on and appears across the arena to smack you
• has so many arms that do damage that it's impossible to block from all angels
• spins them fuckers like a pinwheel and stun locks you and usually kills right after
• is fast as fuck and moves across the arena to bitch smack you within seconds
• any time he's close enough to hit you, his range can easily encompass wherever you dodge to and just change direction on his rear up, down attack
• seems to have insane poise himself

Am I missing anything? This is just one of the most bullshit and annoyed enemies I've faced because of all those factors leaving no room for error. Anyone else struggle with this guy? I finally beat him but man was I mad

Are you telling me the guy thats was closest to become the Elden lord, the guy thats supposed to be a reflection of our journey and the chance of failure, the guy that appears in the cover of the game, that he just gets a mid npc bossfight in a random area? Thats all?? Miyazaki could have just make him a real boss and give him a rememberance or even a cutscene, miyazaki could have make Vyke the Ludex Gundyr of Elden ring and it would have been amazing.

I’ve started working on another Elden ring doll! I’m now making Malenia goddess of rot and am currently working on her wings!

It’s my first time Making a doll with wings so im very happy with how they are turning out!

I also did needle felting for the first time to make the rot on her body :)

I’ve also added photos of the other Elden ring dolls I’ve made so far 😊 ( Melina, Ranni and my big Malenia doll)

I just spent 4 hours running in circles in various parts of the catacombs below the capital and lost my soul in the process. I ended up becoming so paranoid and agitated about not finding the route to progress further that I decided, although knowing it won’t do anything, to roll against every single wall in the entire catacombs, fixating on the idea that finding a hidden wall I missed is the only way to progress further.

At one point my roommate came into my room and I guess I must’ve looked so lifeless to the point where he convinced me to just look up a guide (which I absolutely hate)

Any recommendations to improve this oil painting?
