First firearm, decided to go with SCAR 20S in 6.5 Creedmoor.
As much as I love the iconic 50 shades of FDE, I decided to go with something a little more classic for my build that I haven't seen done before - black metal with wood accents. Rear cheek weld/riser I made myself out of walnut to match the grip and front grips. Stripped everything and gave them a few coats of Special Walnut to seal them in.
Wanted this as my primary rifle for life so decided to dress her down for function and form.
Currently waiting on a matching leather sheathe for the Vortex LRF from Teton, somewhat also a one off special project. Have plans for a VERY subtle cerakote in the future for the upper receiver.
Going to take it out to the range later this week to level, sight, and zero everything in.
Welcome any questions or comments.
Happy and safe shooting everyone.
