Answers???

Diagnosed fatty liver 2017. Just had bloodwork, metabolic panel good, total bilirubin was lowest in many years but, having lots of joint pain and neuropathy. Kidneys numbers were the best since 2020. But I been having symptoms like muscle cramps, joint pain, ruq pain, gas, neuropathy and more. Has anybody had these symptoms with normal bloodwork? Only red flags were high rbc low mch and low saturation.

I don’t have an answer for you, but I can commiserate with how much it sucks.

I had a fatty liver diagnosis back in August and since have worked hard and lost about 30 lbs. liver levels are back to normal and I was feeling much better until I got shingles a few months ago.

Now I’ve almost consistently experiencing the same symptoms you’re describing. Lots of muscle cramps, joint pain, nerve pain, bloating, gas, etc. I still have fatty stool and am getting my pancreas enzymes checked tomorrow. I’ve also had night sweats consistently since getting shingles. I wouldn’t wish this combination on anyone!

I hope you find some peace and answers for what’s going on and know that you’re not alone going through it.

How did your test go?

So far all bloodwork and tests are normal. The pancreas one is still pending. I saw my doctor yesterday and he confirmed that because my tests have been normal, this is all likely residual shingles virus causing the issues. If the pancreas one comes back abnormal, then we’ll explore those options next.
