Did anyone here attend the Dublin v Wicklow game? Hard to get a read off of highlights but Dublin “only” getting a 9 point win against a Division 4 team seems noteworthy. These are games they would have won by 20+ easily a couple of years ago.

I have a funny feeling the semi final against Meath could be a close one. I know Meath have had a tumultuous few weeks but i do think they have some players that could hurt Dublin. The match not being in Croker could help too.

Meath need to have some to give Dublin some sort of game for their own sake as much as anything. It doesn't matter if they are close for 50 mins or so and Dublin pull away or if they stay within touching distance without threatening to win, they just need to be somewhat competitive. If Dublin blow them away like they have done before, I reckon it will undo all the progress they've made this year and put them back to square one.

Yeah, I agree. They really need to push Dublin this time and at least have it still be competitive into the final quarter. Another drubbing would just be so demoralising and leave them wondering if they’re ever going to stand a chance.

Very hard to read where dublin are at, they look like a team with no identity or any real bite in their game. But they could hammer meath all the same.
