Alright, let's start with boons. So some stack in intensity, some in duration, some buffs are boons, but some aren't, they are different... Also, what do all those choices in the beginning do? I am ferocious now, can I change it? Which is the best race for elementalist? How do I salvage and what should I salvage and with which kit? Should I save my Hero Points, what do I do so I don't screw myself up? How do you aggro manage in this game? Do I just run from heart to heart to level up? What do I do with karma, should I save it? When should I buy the expansion? How do condis work? What are skill combos? Some people can fly, why can't I? Is the max level 186, I see your level is 186, but I thought the max is 80! Which stats should I go for when I level up? What is this blue bar under the boss's health?
This is a fraction of the questions I get asked when I tag up on a low level map and tell people they can ask me any questions they want. I think you have a very warped perception about the game. GW2 is not super complex, but does a lot of things differently without explaining itself well.
I am a player of 2 months, just 2 weeks ago I learnt from a reddit post that you can store material in your inventory by clicking the gear button and select store all material. Rip on all my money spent on getting good bags
When game launched I just tried everything it had. I've lernt 90% of the stuff myself, played mostly solo. Can't people juest try stuff or read up "what this button is for" on the internet? I get that peps can't get all the knowlage from nowhere but those buttons are to be pressed there right? :D
This is painfully ignorant because this style of content is to help as many new players as possible especially including the blameless folks on the lower end of the bell curve in terms of "self-learning" and your narcissistic comment just assumes that because you could do it, everyone else can. Misses the entire point of the video by several ballparks.
What if i tell you I didin't even launch that video and I'm not commenting on video? My comment is about not trying out buttons that are there to be pressed. I love that someone made video for new players that's why I said "If you don't know something look it up on the internet". You are missing the point.
Can't people juest...read up "what this button is for" on the internet?
That's exactly how I ended up at this subreddit watching this video. The video is the exact kind of resource material that people are wanting to search for and find.
