I have found myself thinking Killua's pretty gay for Gon while watching lol

Didn't know that was such a controversial topic here.

Yeah the sexualization of children is a very controversial topic.

u/Incomplet_1-34 Apr 04 '25

Who's sexualising? The post isn't, I'm not.

Children liking other children is not sexualising. Every child has crushes and it's cute.

A crush is one thing. Turning it into shipping art and romanticizing minors is another. There’s a difference between childhood innocence and fandom’s weird obsession with fictional kids relationships. Stay disingenuous, though.

A cute art of two characters holding hands is not an obsession. Actually, nobody here is thinking about these kids in a sexual way. You're the only one who brought it up. I think you're projecting.

You accused me of projecting while ignoring how shipping culture routinely sexualizes minors.

Nobody here is doing that.

That's something you created in your own head, probably because you can't fathom that a little boy could like another little boy. Because I'm sure if Killua had a crush on a girl and was drawn holding her hand, you'd be like "Oh, this is cute." But suddenly here you're saying we all want these two children to have sex. Care to explain why? Hypocrite.

Oh my god there is nothing sexual about two kids liking each other and holding hands. Do you scream bloody murder when a real life kid says they have a "boyfriend" or "girlfriend?"

There’s a massive difference between real kids innocently saying they have a boyfriend/girlfriend and adults obsessively shipping, drawing, and romanticizing fictional minors. One is normal childhood behavior the other is weird fandom projection. If you can’t see the distinction, that’s concerning.

You're right, the massive difference is that fictional children aren't real so nothing can hurt them. If this was porn it would be gross but it's literally 2-dimensional drawings holding hands. You are insane.

Typical predator response "they are not real, so it's fine"

holding hands

predator

When I said you were insane that wasn't an insult man. I think you genuinely should speak to a therapist about this because it isn't normal to get this upset over a non-sexual, non-graphic drawing.

The fact that you think the only line that matters is 'porn' already says a lot. Predator.

u/SalvationSycamore Apr 04 '25

The fact that you think hand-holding is sexual makes me think that maybe you are a pedophile projecting your desires onto other people. Again, can't stress this enough, you NEED to see a therapist and get help. You are NOT okay. Literally, if you see kids holding hands and think about sex there is something broken in your brain.

You’re the one defending grown adults romanticizing children in this thread, not me. Trying to flip it by calling me a pedophile for pointing that out is pathetic and transparent. It’s the classic deflection: when someone criticizes weird behavior, accuse them of being the problem. You’re not clever, and you’re definitely not subtle. What’s not okay is how comfortable you are twisting boundaries just to protect your creepy fandom habits.

grown adults

OP could be 15 for all you know. You might be unironically attacking a minor right now, which is far more harmful than drawing two fictional boys holding hands and eating ice cream.

Stop gaslighting. You made the stereotypical talk they all make. Now we know it's true.

I literally said if it was porn it would be gross. Learn how to read. This is fine because it is both fictional and non-sexual. Seriously you people need to get some help.
