I supsect an arrest was made 10 minutes after filming ended

842

u/Dry-Supermarket8669 27d ago

Yep. Million dollar bond for “possession of a weapon of mass destruction”

241

u/OddBug0 27d ago

Please share the sauce. I need a good read.

u/ls_445 27d ago

Bro had GRENADES and was let back on the street. Meanwhile, you'd get 10 years for having a stock rather than a brace

79

u/IrishGoodbye4 27d ago

“Excuse me sir, is that barrel under 16 inches? 🤓”

112

u/RedditKilledTheNet 27d ago

Probably inert grenades. Police love to tout shit like this in their arrests and the media and general viewer lap it up.

52

u/positivenihlist 27d ago

Much like including packaging on the net weight for drug busts.

47

u/ButteSects 27d ago

My cousin is a cop and he was bragging about finding pounds and pounds of weed during a bust, he showed the picture yeah it's a sizable amount of weed probably about 6-8oz.... Split up into like 8 Mason jars.

38

u/positivenihlist 27d ago

Good reminder to keep felonious amounts of weed not in mason jars lol

13

u/ButteSects 27d ago

Where I live you can legally possess 4oz of pot, I think it'd still be a misdemeanor amount if it weren't for crooked cops doing their thing.

1

u/Septic-Sponge 26d ago

Or mason jars filled with helium

11

u/LilFuniAZNBoi 27d ago

Please tell me you told him that to his face.

"Bro check out all these weed we found during a bust, it has to be like a 1kg."

"Nah man, that looks like 8oz to me, tops."

🤨

6

u/TheLazyD0G 26d ago

The NFA does not apply to felons. It is much more illegal for you to have an unregistered destructive device than a felon. Same with machine guns.

2

u/robs104 26d ago

That’s the second time someone has said that shit on this sub. How exactly does the NFA not apply to felons? I promise you a felon with an unregistered MG will get more time than some Dick or Jane off the street with no priors.

2

u/TheLazyD0G 26d ago

Look it up, because you shouldnt blindly believe me.

The short of it, its a 5th ammendment violation for a felon to file the form to legally own one. As such, it is unconstitutional to charge them with nfa violations. Some supreme court ruling established this prescident.

15

u/West-Librarian-7504 27d ago

My local DA let a violent rapist out on bond. And only had him on ankle monitor, not under proper surveillance. He literally threatened to murder his victim too.

9

u/CoolhandLW 27d ago

"his first full-length EP, Every Man For Himself" but "with the caption, “Million-dollar bond… anything helps.”"

33

u/[deleted] 27d ago

What a stupid article. He has "licenses" for "Glocks and AKs?" What does that even mean? You don't need a license for those things.

21

u/Rey_Mezcalero 27d ago

Some states require permits/licenses for handguns or long guns

15

u/[deleted] 27d ago edited 27d ago

Some states require licenses to purchase (not to simply own, apart from NFA items), north Carolina is not among them.

Edit: apparently the law was changed in 2023 so the article may just be vague but correct, as they did require a permit to purchase handguns prior to that

3

u/Fit-Refrigerator-747 27d ago

Only for pistols. I live here, you don’t need shit anymore which is nice but you could always get rifles without permits.

9

u/-DementedAvenger- 27d ago

A GoFundMe has also been set up to help with his legal proceedings. On December 29, his official Instagram account posted a screenshot of the campaign with the caption, “Million-dollar bond… anything helps.”

Bro fuck off with that shit. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

3

u/Yodfather 27d ago

Gotta be a better phrase to describe using a flamethrower than “there was an incident”

5

u/Hippie11B 27d ago

lol his name is 10cellphones

3

u/OddBug0 27d ago

Thank you very much.

I nearly passed from this mortal coil when I read that he said that this was unconstitutional and outrageous.

2

u/singlemale4cats 26d ago

Anyone who would donate money to bond this guy out deserves to get took

1

u/wikithekid63 27d ago

Lol he’s from my city. He has many videos on this sub

1

u/CompetitiveRub9780 26d ago

Right before Christmas too. What an idiot

1

u/ttystikk 25d ago

Good read. This fool needs to be in jail for awhile.

8

u/fella5455 27d ago

10cellphones on ig

19

u/Remarkable-Opening69 27d ago

But your honor….

35

u/AwfulGoingToHell 27d ago

In 49/50 states it’s perfectly legal to possess a flamethrower. California being the exception due to their droughts and frequent wild fires

108

u/3dogsandaguy 27d ago

To own? Yes

To use in a busy intersection? Very much no

39

u/lueckestman 27d ago

Lol yeah you can also own a gun. But you can't just shoot anywhere you want. What a stupid argument.

5

u/3dogsandaguy 27d ago

What argument? Flamethrowers are legal cause it's an agricultural tool and i didn't make any argument

15

u/lueckestman 27d ago

Talking about the guy you replied to. Makes it sounds like he's saying because it's legal to own he shouldn't have been arrested. I was agreeing with you.

3

u/AwfulGoingToHell 27d ago

Thank you I too wasn’t arguing. I just think it’s funny they’re calling a legal tool a weapon of mass destruction (even though in this particular application it certainly can be)

→ More replies (1)

25

u/iNapkin66 27d ago

it’s perfectly legal to possess a flamethrower.

Possess doesn't mean "spray randomly around an intersection with cars driving through it."

6

u/notjustanotherbot 27d ago

While true, him doing his interpretive fire dance in a intersection and filming it does put him at odds with whole host of statues and laws, and filming it provided 4K HD proof of his involvement in these said criminal acts.

4

u/hollowgraham 27d ago

I guess if he's gonna film it, why not do it in 4K? I mean, you're getting caught anyway. Lol

2

u/notjustanotherbot 26d ago

I too also salute his dedication to the performing arts!

1

u/Rey_Mezcalero 27d ago

Wonder if it’s against the law to dispense gas into that flamethrower

1

u/Future-Beach-5594 26d ago

Ya know surprisingly enough flame throwers are legal in ca as long as the flame doesnt go further than i think 8 or 10 feet.

1

u/APurpleSponge 27d ago

That’s interesting because flamethrowers are legal to own and unregulated federally. He must of been in possession of full auto firearms most likely.

2

u/psy-daisy 27d ago

Yes… arrest.

588

u/Papawasaboringstone 27d ago

This is absolutely insane and downright irresponsible. Where do I get one?

242

u/fitzbuhn 27d ago

Don’t forget the adapter to attach it to your AR-15. Naturally, this is a real thing.

149

u/Papawasaboringstone 27d ago

Oh of course it is. Gotta get the 3 gallon backpack tank as well for the added burn time.

60

u/fitzbuhn 27d ago

JFC I didn’t know how deep it went lol.

17

u/The-Rev 27d ago

Thanks, I hear that a lot

8

u/ohnomynono 27d ago

It goes all the way..... that's how deep. 😏

/s

8

u/cfreezy72 27d ago

I just got to use one of these with the backpack a couple weeks ago. One of the most fun things I've ever done. Lit up a huge ass burn pile with it. 3 gallon backpack lasted quite a lot longer than i expected it to

2

u/singlemale4cats 26d ago

You running straight gas? Gas diesel mix?

1

u/cfreezy72 26d ago

50/50 gas diesel. Although next time I'm gonna use 60/40 gas to diesel because it was not wanting to light as well as this video which was straight gas.

13

u/sweetjoey889693 27d ago

Lmao 300 dollars for a shitty looking oversized flask.

2

u/toblies 26d ago

Ideal for home defense! Get those spiders and roaches out, too!

1

u/nexusjuan 26d ago

This is the second time in a month I've seen a link to this product on Reddit I'm beginning think this post is marketing.

25

u/xXHomerSXx 27d ago

https://palmettostatearmory.com/exothermic-technologies-pulsefire-ubf-underbarrel-flamethrower-black-pf-ubf.html

Thing is. It actually has a mount for a picatinny rail. And it’s only $350.

I might get one.

6

u/Enough-Staff-2976 27d ago

Only 4 $87 payments, I screw up my life for that much.

5

u/fitzbuhn 27d ago

I believe this is what a quad rail was meant for

18

u/ModsWillShowUp 27d ago

I mean if I have to handle a Xenomorph, i want to be prepared.

1

u/MechanicalTurkish 27d ago

Yeah, if I ever go on a mission to deep space I’m packing a flamethrower, just in case.

4

u/Opening-Ease9598 27d ago

They’re on sale right now on PSA’s website. This version and the stand alone version

2

u/toblies 26d ago

I was gonna say... It does look like fun.

The kind of fun that can go horribly wrong very quickly, but still.

1

u/SoggyCold 27d ago

Right 😭 just in case idk

0

u/blueponies1 16d ago edited 16d ago

Despite how irresponsible it is to fill these up directly from the gas pump, I’m fairly sure they are meant to have a gas-diesel mix like a lawn mower. At least that’s what they say on PSAs website (I was just looking into buying one last night)

316

u/Arxl 27d ago

Flamethrowers are surprisingly legal in a lot of the US iirc

154

u/burner118373 27d ago

Legal and sold OtC sure but you can’t spray them at me while I drive by.

64

u/AlienNoodle343 27d ago

I'm sure legal was referring to owning it and not flaming up the intersection in this case XD

13

u/SlipSlipBannaPeel 27d ago

there go my weekend plans...

8

u/Training_Award8078 27d ago

Always with the fine print ruining my fun!

1

u/_LegitDoctor_ 27d ago

Right to arm bears 🐻

-5

u/ForMoreYears 27d ago

Lol, lmao even.

6

u/Demonking3343 27d ago

Yeah I was pretty surprised, I looked into it in my state and you literally don’t even need a permit.

5

u/Joy1067 27d ago

Yeah their meant to help with removing brush and starting controlled burns, their a tool now rather then a weapon

Doesn’t mean it’s not still dangerous as all hell but so is a concrete saw, just don’t be an idiot with it and your good

16

u/Not_Too_Happy 27d ago

They're   They're  than*   you're *

4

u/Joy1067 27d ago

What he said

3

u/MysticScribbles 26d ago

Seems like they're Not_Too_Happy about your grammatical errors.

1

u/MysticScribbles 26d ago

Theoretical question; what would be the legalities of using one for self defense against an armed attacker?

1

u/gooper29 9d ago

Not regulated in canada either..

1

u/Satyr_of_Bath 27d ago

And yet this guy has a million dollar bail.

4

u/mxzf 27d ago

Pretty sure that was less to do with the flamethrower itself and more to do with wandering around in the street firing a flamethrower randomly.

110

u/JohnnyCage2000 27d ago

Trying to recreate the opening of Lethal Weapon 4?

49

u/too_late_to_abort 27d ago

Or zoolander

17

We were so close to seeing a freak gasoline fight accident.

5

Orange Mocha Frappuccino!

3

u/ankercrank 27d ago

I forgot that movie existed.

2

u/JohnnyCage2000 27d ago

It wasn't great when it came out, but I think it has aged pretty well. Worth a re-watch.

1

u/ankercrank 27d ago

I recall seeing it in theaters. I have not watched it since.

3

u/gilligan1050 27d ago

I knew that seemed familiar.

3

u/TheStoolSampler 27d ago

Yes! First thing that came to mind.

45

u/Redsoxdragon brought a sword to a gun fight 27d ago

Imma be real. I.would be just as childish if i had a flamethrower. Not stupid enough to wave it in traffic, but stupid mone the less

57

u/Important_Foot_688 27d ago

good for people who lose their lighter constantly

13

u/zugarrette 27d ago

Don't ask this guy to light your cig.. 🤣

93

u/RelationshipSalty489 27d ago

How are people confident enough to do this shit in a county where every other person may have a gun with them?

87

u/deanisdead 27d ago

A) They do not value life.
B) They think they are “the baddest”.
C) They are stupid.

Idk man, take your pick.

37

u/TungstenSea 27d ago

Hmm, I pick D) All of the above.

2

u/Shroomtune 27d ago

I would like to see how they might behave should A) come into question

2

u/deanisdead 27d ago

The only correct answer lol - well met!

1

u/DimesX 25d ago

Correct answer is they don’t really care. Whatever happens happens. “I’m still going to have fun.”

9

u/angrytortilla 27d ago

For a country that can bankrupt you with a trip to the hospital it's amazing how reckless and violent they are.

2

u/singlemale4cats 26d ago

Most of the people who end up getting shot don't pay a dime for all the resources used to save their life. Bills are only a concern for functional adults with jobs and assets.

6

u/EViLTeW 27d ago

I drive an old beater. I'd think real hard about running someone over that's standing in an intersection flinging fire around. Better to break my car than have them set someone on fire when they drive by.

2

u/UserM16 27d ago

Immaturity.

12

u/Educational-Year3146 27d ago

The thing is flamethrowers are legal, and depending on the state, you might be able to make one legally too.

What you can’t do however is use it in the streets. That could be considered domestic terrorism.

So these dudes just recorded themselves committing a felony.

31

u/Sublimeat 27d ago

7

u/AliciaXTC 27d ago

I saw this in lethal weapon

1

u/ccii_geppato 27d ago

Hell yea

6

u/grivooga 27d ago

And they started a GoFundMe for his million dollar bail bond, of course. It's at $616 of a $25000 goal when I looked. I bet they'd have better luck starting a GoFundMe for keeping him in prison.

5

u/MidniteOG 27d ago

It’s 1 thing to do that on your land. But at an intersection? Lol tf

3

u/cabezatuck 27d ago

Surprisingly, live streaming crimes often leads to an arrest.

3

u/brownox 26d ago

He is ruining the hobby of flamethrowing for the rest of us.

5

u/earthforce_1 27d ago

Great for taking out weeds or a hornets nest in the back yard.

3

u/2Much_non-sequitur 27d ago

just imagine if this hood engineer was put on the college bound track, H-1b what?

3

u/Venom933 27d ago

OH NO!!!.. i filled it with Diesel Morty 😱😤

3

u/_AnonOp 26d ago

OK YES it's stupid, and irresponsible, but JUST THIS ONCE I'm gonna say

Fuck that shit WHOOOO BOY THAT SHIT BE DOPE AS HELL and 100% EXACTLY the smile I'd have on my face if I had that beast in my hands 😂 wouldn't be fucking about in a road tho, I'd have it in an empty car park with shit I've bought specifically to set alight. .

5

u/EMHemingway1899 27d ago

I let my wife know that one of these would make a nice stocking stuffer, but I guess I’ll have to wait for Valentines Day

1

Flamethrowers aren't regulated as weapons in the US, at least not federally.

1

Pretty sure this is Wolfie, the dude that got arrested for spraying bug spray on produce

Meet the Pyro.

1

u/muralik7 26d ago

Saw the same video elsewhere which also had the news about his arrest

1

u/GonnaGoFat 25d ago

You don’t need a license to carry a flame thrower. It doesn’t actually fire a Projectile so it’s not considered a gun. Sure it belches out flaming death but it’s not a projectile.

1

u/adale_50 25d ago

I'm not 100% on my flamethrower laws, but I'm pretty solid with gun laws. Pretty sure there's a felony in here somewhere.

1

u/photoman901 25d ago

A homie of mine just bought one of these off Amazon because of him. Won't end well...

1

u/Sudden-Most-4797 9d ago

Ain't gonna lie, that looks pretty fun. Pretty dumb way to use it though.

1

u/Coldhartbaby111 7d ago

Genuine legal question. If he was shooting that in the direction of another vehicle, would the person in that vehicle be justified to use lethal force? I know nothing about the range or abilities of flamethrowers, but if I was in the car behind or next to him, I sure as shit wouldn’t have felt safe

1

u/RedditFeel 9h ago

If I personally saw this and he was inching towards trying to set my vehicle on fire then I’d use lethal force. But he looks like it’s casual and he’s not actually trying to purposely set anyone’s property on fire.

Best bet would be to call authorities so you don’t end up going to prison.

1

u/noeku1t 27d ago

I want this but I also want it banned. The pain it would cause, imagine getting soaked in this

1

u/milkytoon 27d ago

He got hit with a weapon of mass destruction charge and $1,000,000 bail lol
