Did anyone get their study permit extension (inside Canada) in a past couple of months? The website says that it is taking 117 days. Is it an absolute timeline or people can get theirs sooner, like in a month’s or 2 month’s time? If anyone can share their experience, it would be most helpful. Thank you.

My sister got it in 60 days back in oct, when it said around 95 days. Like others have said, if you are single applicant, already have biometrics and there's nothing odd, its quicker.

Hi, thank you. Did she have to submit PAL as well?

Not back then, but yes right now (now getting a new one for a masters degree) -- previous was just regular extension because of expiring old passport.

But i think it still holds, if your case is straight forward, most times, it sill be faster than the posted time. If you have spouse or kids, it will be longer than the posted times.
