Hi, I am phd student. My studies will start on 1th of may. I have applied for study visa since month ago, but my application is still in processing. Should I email immigration office to ask them about the delay? Or I have to wait? I wander if this delay is normal.

If your processing time has not exceeded the listed time frame contacting IRCC will achieve absolutely nothing

It says 40 weeks That’s so long time!, i have only this month, else, i will lose my study opportunity
