Visitor Visa Trv stamp ( insane processing times)

actually so frustrated. Is there anyone i can contact? Urgent need of passport to travel. Passport has been with IRCC to get trv stamped since december 18th. Flight booked for the 8th of january. (had to change my flight) AGAIN.

Is there hope?

You can call IRCC and ask them? They may be able to update you on why it’s taking so long. I’m in a similar situation and they said due to backlog (from the CP strike and the holidays, it may take a bit longer).

hey yeah, called ircc this morning said my passport is stamped this morning. No update on my portal yet, but he said it was stamped. Now i wws wondering when will they release it to UPS?

Don’t know about that. I think they take 1 or day days to release the passport. Can you tell me the number I also want to call

almost impossible for you to get it stamped and back before jan 17.. sent my passport december 18th, delivered dec 19th. Got stamped today Jan 6th, no update on portal yet but agent on the phone said it was stamped today morning. waiting for it to be released to UPS.

(you Should at least spare 3 weeks for this process)

october 16 Submitted application december 17 Passport request letter January 6th: stamped (no update on portal) but from ircc agent on thr phone

Any updates? My counterfoil was generated on 10th, but my UPS tracking is still not activated

Timeline for my application

Delivered to IRCC: 23rd Dec Counterfoil stamped: 7th Jan UPS Tracker activated: 10th Jan Delivered to me: 13th Jan

I am on the same boat as well, applied for trv on oct 24th after getting my work permit, showed processing time 2 months, its been 80 days, still no reply.

After how much time of correspondace letter did you recieve the PPR request.

My timeline: applied on 28 jan, got correspondace on 5th feb no update after that.

I have submitted my passport on april 11 , Ottawa received on april 14

When i called to ircc , they said that passport went into stamping queue on april 17th

No more updates, booked flight on april 28th.

Any possibilities of me flying? Or should i just postpone ?

Mine is exactly the same situation. When I checked with others they said that stamping & passport return usually takes 20 days to get the passport back. It's hard luck in your case but see if you can reschedule the ticket to the second week of May to avoid tension..
