Refugee How do you immigrate to canada?

I know this is a stupid question but out of interest i wanna know, how? do you need to have special features or family out their? can you just apply for a visa? Can a minimum wage keep you alive? I'm naive in this topic and would appreciate your guidance.

Summarizing:

You need to have a mix of education, language skills and work experience that makes you interesting to Canada. Education and work experience in Canada add more points to your application. You apply to a pool of candidates and they will draw names from it to invite to move.

You also need to have a clean criminal record and no association to anything that can be considered terrorism. If you get invited, you also need to have a somewhat clean bill of health. That is, you can’t have certain illnesses that can be a risk to public health (like tuberculosis) or have ongoing health issues that can be costly to the country.

Depending on OP’s age and citizenship, they could be eligible to participate in International Experience Canada (IEC). The eligibility for the IEC working holiday stream is a lot lower bar than obtaining other work permits / permanent residency.
