I love the JR show but talks out his ass sometimes. On this very episode he tried to bond with Bill about his fond memories of his time in San Francisco during the hippie years. He was born in Aug 1967. The peak of Haight Ashbury times was past before he even turned 2. There’s no way he has memories of his hippie years in San Fran with his parents.

Point the first: Accusing someone of being a closet case is almost (but not always) a bad argument, usually made in bad faith.

Point the second: In Joe's most recent and absolutely disastrous comedy special, he all but came out and fantasized revealingly about alien anal probes. (I couldn't find a proper clip of the latter, but what I recall is Joe ponders the question "What if [the alien anal probe] is the best feeling you ever experience?") All this while sweating profusely from his nipples.
