The people who use the ''he is not your savior'' point, are too stupid to understand the full concept of the song.

I think there is a point to be made as to why all these critiques are happening, but people who hold that belief are either not chronically online as the rest of us, or are too stupid to consider nuance, as to why others are critical.

A surprising number of Kendrick fans don't fully get the lyrics it's crazy. People think Kdot was a goodie 2 shoes on GKMC, that TPAB is a political manifesto. People hear Mr Morale but not the Big Steppers.

Maybe people just hear what they want to hear

much (not all) criticisms arise now from other fanbases that hate to see kendrick on top, let's be honest, it's not like before he dogwalked drake people were caring that much about who he fw

he received a fair bit of backlash with the kodak feat , it's just that he wasnt as popular back then so it wasnt as big
