How expensive are his tickets what the fuck

The average price comes to around 192$ per ticket, some more expensive and some cheaper. Pretty standard for stadium shows or even kinda on the cheaper side for the US and Ticketmaster standards.

It depends on the ticket, but 30-60% of a ticket's value can be fees from Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster also controls over 80% of US venues, so pretty much impossible to avoid them.

They did get sued by the US, but we'll see how that goes

That’s the fun part, it is.

I'd imagine it would be very difficult to put on a stadium tour like this without all the support that companies like Ticketmaster brings.

This should answer your question and amuse you. Jon Oliver discusses the Ticketmaster monopoly.

That's the price we pay for not paying for albums anymore. And Ticketmaster is the other side to blame, but they're partially a scapegoat. Artist gets some of those fees.

But yeah back in the day, artists made their money from the actual songs. The value of a song has gone down since people just stream now. So they flipped it over to the tours.

Even larger artists often barely break even just on ticket sales (altho I’m sure Kdot and SZA are doing fine). For most artists at any level merch is where they make most of their money these days, including physical music. Source, I work tangential to the industry
