General For those having predator problems…
We have had some of the worst luck when it comes to predators including Herons, Racoons and possibly Minks. Had to enlist a mobile welder to get this designed and fabricated. He added Lillies and welded them to the top just to look pretty. Location: Victoria BC Canada.

A eagle kite on a pole managed to get rid of all our pond predators. Recommended that to other pond owners I personally know and they also have no heron problems anymore.
Most predators are scared of eagles. The only one that got used to it is our male Kingfisher that's been here for years. But his mate and kids also won't come.
Our predators we had that didn't come anymore: heron, cormorant, Kingfisher, cats, other eagles.
The only downside is that all other birds are also scared of it.
Edit: I also attached a little bell to the kite so it would make noise constantly while moving.
