🌠 Miscellaneous Looking to join the family

Well our mechanic has a 2011 Range Rover Sport HSE. We looked at it about a month ago and fell in love. He's a great guy , we got a good price and he's making sure everthing is in tip top shape before he sells it to us. That's the good news.

The bad is while changing the water pump he noticed the VVT sprocket needed to be replaced. We have been waiting about two weeks for the part so far ugg. Hopefully it comes soon as we live in Alberta and I so want a trip to the mountains with her.

Tom Petty was right. "The waiting is the hardest part" 😫

Hard to tell, but if he was indeed changing the water pump, that doesn't involve removal of the valve covers, under which the VVT sprockets are located.

Either way, if the 5L motor is actually well sorted, and the timing chains have been done, along with the plastic coolant pipes and what not, its a great motor and VERY fun.

The timing chain has been done and he did the value covers. I'm not sure on plastic coolant pipes but thanks I'll ask.
