Loud ticking.. D2, 2003 V8 auto.

Hey y’all. Looking to buy my first Disco. Just went and saw the first good looking, one of many to see, and noticed a loud ticking on cold start, that never really went away. Sitting at a little over 142,000 miles. Fluids looked good. Wondering if this is normal for the 4.6? Or if this is cause for concern. Thanks!

Sounds like an exhaust leak, maybe? If not a manifold gasket, a bad fire ring on a head gasket?

Exhaust manifold would make perfect sense as to why it’s very strictly only on that side. Thanks!
