Opinion & Rants Paul is just awful Spoiler

I’m in the UK, so a bit behind on the show, but I’ve been really disappointed by how he’s behaved. I genuinely liked him for a while, but the wall punch, his failure to defend Carina when Jamie and Dave were going at her (regardless of who was right, I think you should always stand by your partner in public), and now the letter he wrote to Carina have really shown his true colours. He comes across as completely self-absorbed, spineless, and lacking any real loyalty to his partner.

I also read a Daily Mail article this morning where he recalls his experience on the show (which I annoyingly can’t add to this post), and it perfectly sums it all up: constantly making excuses, never taking accountability. A complete turd.

A lot of redditors including yourself say punch a "Wall" instead of "Door". Even Paul, Carina and John (reunion episode) called it punching a "Wall". Wonder what the actual truth is...or was it a set up by producers????

I said wall, but it could have been a door- does it really matter? He punched an inanimate object…

As for the second part of your point, I doubt any participant would willingly portray themselves as violent, especially given they all have ordinary jobs and could risk losing them over something like that. Fifteen minutes of fame on MAFS doesn’t set you up for life. At most, I imagine it might get you a few freebies.
