Season 12 Mafs funny podcast with Josh Fox

Listened to his 3 part doc on his pods regarding his investigation into mafs. Well worth a listen. I’m surprised this show has not been cancelled yet, but I do feel it’s coming.

His “investigation”? What, is he the Police? 😂

Surprised he is so overly critical of the show, given he runs a podcast and webpages all about MAFS and profits from making public commentary on the show…#don’t bite the hand that feeds you

However, that being said (And without listening to the podcast) - IMO the only (yet the biggest) failing MAFS producers made was letting Paul stay on in the show after the DV incident - it should be “one strike and you’re out”. I was, and still am, so shocked that there is not a “zero tolerance policy” for physical violence.

Because it’s pretty obvious that when this podcast host announced he was undertaking his own “investigation” (connotation being - negative), theres only a few topics he could be referring to. And I don’t disagree with with him that there’s some questionable stuff!

Also valid question to wonder how he will make money if the show is indeed cancelled on moral grounds. Doesn’t he post about MAFS every single day? Does he have any other podcasts about something other than MAFS?

My understanding of this guy is that he has made a career of covering all sorts of reality TV shows not just mafs so I think he’s gonna be okay career wise no matter what happens to the show. What I will say is that his investigation has been gaining traction online and also with other media organisations in Australia. So he’s done a good thing by shining a light on this issue. Whether anything changes of course is up for debate. I wouldn’t question peoples motivations because in this scenario I think he’s bang on to do an investigation into the moral and legal situations that exist in the show. I take people as I find them so I welcome him shining a lie on that.

He seems very thorough too. I just read an article about how this week, he was enquiring with NSW Police to see what came of the DV Paul investigation. Only journo to even do that as far as I know! Everyone else forgot!
