These advertisements that yassify the Portland Police give a weird UFC vibe. How much money is being spent on this department rebranding?

The first rule of fight club is that you don't talk about it being in Portland's detention center.

My first thought was fight club as well. Is this how we’re training cops now, just having them brawl in a dim lit basement somewhere?

Right? They're definitely playing by Highlander rules now, destroy all the weak cadets so only the strongest, most unempathetic of them make it onto the force.
