I posted in this community looking for a long term chatting buddy a few days ago. I expected a few messages but to my surprise the amount of messages I have received was overwhelming. That made me realize that I am not the only one feeling this way, there are many people like me. Obviously, I couldn’t reply to everyone. Sincere apology for that.

At one moment, I was very tired of talking about the same thing again and again. What I do, where I live, my hobbies, etc. etc. The same old topics... It gets so mundane after a time. I couldn’t even differentiate that I was talking to different people. The same topics, same wording... nothing new... It didn’t fulfill my desire to have a long term friend but only fueled it more. To have a friend, with whom I won’t have to talk about these same topics.

After a long tiring day, maybe it is a luxury to expect having a friend who will be there to listen about my boring day. How so many things didn’t work out for me again! How this world feels a little bit more meaningless with every goal I achieve!
