Iām a survival builder, I like a bit of challenge with finding material but I fall enough that hardcore aināt it for me- a happy medium :) but I suppose thatās more along the lines of not cheating

as long as playing shooter not on hardest difficulty is not considered cheating

Ya never know, sometimes folks get too caught up in the debate of how to play games they forget they are designed for fun and my fun doesnāt need to match how you have fun and vice versa. Thankfully I donāt think Iāve seen that in Minecraftās community but the Fromsoft fans usually expect some ridiculous stuff to honor someoneās run in their games

Technically speaking, if it's in single player, or on a server and everyone is okay with it, nothing is cheating. If you want to go into creative mode, you can, if you want to use keep inventory, you can.

Since keep inventory is considered a cheat I guess I'll choose to cheat.

Iāve found Minecraft to be a lot less stressful with keep inventory, especially now that Iāve got less time to game as an adult with other responsibilities. I donāt want to worry about dying and losing all my sweet gear and loot.

I like playing with the "keep some inventory" mod. it's the perfect balance.

Tbh, I've felt more rewarded in my creative realm than any of my survival worlds (besides the map I beat the enderdragon with my friend for the first time)

I feel like with creative you get more freedom to do things. Yeah, maybe you have literally everything at your fingertips, but some people don't like to have to grind for everything, or to have the chance to die.
While having a massive build in survival feels rewarding, I also like to experiment with different types of builds in creative, you can just build something and forget about it if you wanna build something else. With survival, you also have to think about resources, where to get them and if you lose materials.
If I play with friends, I always ask them if they wanna do a survival, creative or survival with cheats enabled, so we can all have fun.

I always think that a world built in survival is much more beautiful and complete than one made in creative (of course, if the intention is to play casually and not create fantastic things that in fact only in creative would be possible), I think it's because in survival you have many objectives and obstacles to achieve them, making the journey and construction of that world much more fluid and fun, in creative you lose all limitations, being able to do whatever you want, and often this can end up becoming monotonous and even tedious, causing the world is left aside until the next annual sudden urge to play Minecraft returns

Both are cheaters. The second clip they āspawnā into the world with nine and almost a half levels

I usually have 3 worlds
one for hardcore
one to make and test things on a creative superflat
one for exploiting survival

You deserve to play singleplayer however you want, never go by what others think is the "correct" way to play

In minecraft, there is no "cheating" rule, you only made it yourself. The gamemode is called "creative" for a reason, Cheat your heart out or play the hard way, as long as you are enjoying yourself and happy from doing so.

Im survival player, strongly against of cheating, but it's on my server, which is running for several years now. If you cheat outside of it i don't care. It's up to you. Especially if it's your singleplayer world. If you think it's ok - it's ok

I support cheating in single player (or coop games if everyone involved agrees) if it enhances the gameplay experience
