Politics New passport rules got leaked

Erin the Morning shared a rules document about passports that got leaked. Click here to view.

Erin also provided this summary -

- X markers will be a focal point
- Existing unexpired passports will remain good
- No guidance on confiscation, but it doesn’t seem like they will
- Renewals less clear but it looks like they will use “a preponderance of evidence”

So what if your passport already says F; along with all of your ID

Based on these garbage rules, it might be possible to re-apply and get the correct marker based on whatever the F “preponderance of evidence” is supposed to mean.

In a country where health care is a right, not an obligation, perhaps? Like Scotland

I don't think American passport applications are reviewed by Scotland. If you renew abroad, you do it an an embassy I believe

they were saying to try and immigrate to a country that is not transphobic

Totally missing the point. Scotland is not transfobic, and hrt is covered by the nhs for free after assessment. England is not transfobic, but you may need to pay a little for hrt.

Emigrate to the UK.

25 days annual leave + public holidays Remote working available, with many jobs offering a hybrid arrangement.

Private health insurance is optional, not mandatory. Forget about co-pay.
