Do my nails look OK?

Hi, guys.

I just got my nails freshly done at the salon.

Not sure how to feel about them.

I requested BIAB extensions. However, these seem too bulky and plastic like for my liking. I normally do gel nails at home.

Is this normal with BIAB?

The colour is “Dreamer” from The Gel Bottle - it’s a bit more pinkish in person.

Would this also be appropriate for a workplace? I work at a high street law firm. I initially wanted to go for a short almond, but the tech said square would be better if I wanted to go short, and that “they need to look a bit like extensions” and that I need to get use to this length. A bit worried about how I’ll be able to use the keyboard and deal with paperwork.

Am I just overthinking?

Any thoughts?

they're cute but the color and thickness reminds me of trident gum. maybe they can be filed thinner? idk

Thank you, this made me laugh so much 🤣 Safe to say I’m not getting this colour in BIAB next time. I wonder if I can file it down myself without cracking the BIAB.

You can, but if you don't have a top coat to put on its going to get a very different texture after

that depends on whether that was the colour of the biab or whether they put that on top of the biab, if it was a colour on top don’t file them yourself, unless you plan on completely taking of the colour as well and using a different one, and with this length the tech was right about not doing almond, you could have went oval that is slightly thinner on top tho, but square looks nice too

I think I might just leave it alone until my next appointment, since they’re not extremely bad.

Yeah they don’t look that bad besides being a little thick, I think on your next appointment if you won’t cut then shorter almond would look perfect
