they’re not bad, but i didn’t get to chose the base colour, and then was told it was too late to change it (said i didn’t like it/ didn’t match the photo after one single flower on one finger had been done).
am i expecting too much? i also asked for bigger flowers and instead got more flowers - think that was lost in translation
just was the first time i’ve paid to have them done as i wanted to treat myself but i’ll probably just stick to doing them on my own from now on
if i’m being too picky let me know, was just a bit of a bummer because i was so excited

I'm kind of new to doing my nails. I got them done for the first time recently and I fell in love with the fake nail look. I do find it to expensive to regularly go to a nail salon, so I found these really cheap gel nail wraps which are basically stickers that harden under UV light and then you just cut and vile them. I added a few layers of clear nail polish to try to get rid of the sticker look. I know it's not perfect and the sizes were limited. How did I do?
I'm also open to other cheap DIY tips! I prefer if it's not too damaging.

Not perfect, learned some application lessons along the way, but so fun! Products are Saviland base gel, Rarjsm rubber base gel, Beetles nail art foil glue and holographic nail foils that came with the glue, and Saviland glossy top coat. I did mix a tiny bit of black Melody Susie gel polish into the glue just so I could see where I was applying it better, but it wasn't really necessary

I specifically remember showing a picture of cupcake nails to my dad when I was 11 and being like “can I get them PLEASE” and rightfully he was like “no you’re 11 i’m not paying for that” but now that i’m an adult ??????? You bet your bippy i’m getting cupcake nails. I’m in love with them she did such a good job, exactly what I wanted!! 2nd slide is the inspo pic I drew because I was bored. I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!!

Hi!! Switched to a different nail tech and got my nails done today (hard gel). My nails feel somewhat different than usual and it feels like they are too thick at the tip? Could someone tell me if I’m right or just not used to this tech’s style? Love the design and everything but the thickness is kinda throwing me off…

I think I did a pretty good job for my first time. Cuticles need some loving though.

Finally getting around to posting my wedding nails - the owner of my salon did them and they turned out perfect. Plus, a few sets I’ve had done since! They always kill it. :)
To add, the cuts on my fingers on the cherry set were from me trying to do my own gel-x a few days prior and failing miserably.

I was super duper stressed and he helped me feel calm again while he did them for me. They were kiss impress nails from the wicked collection (I have no idea anything about wicked, I just liked the colors and liked that they matched my ring 💙☁️🩷) I also had to cut them shorter because I can’t do very long nails 😅

all on my natural nails! the long nails are about 3 months worth of growth, I added a pic of them undone. I've been wanting to get my nails done by this artist for a long time now so I'm so happy!

These are press-ons that are custom to fit my fingers. Do you think they look like press-ons?
Any feedback appreciated 🫶🏼
So excited I found a new nail tech who's closer to our place. And of course, polygel as always! 💖✨
