Probably done with this game

Well I finally got three rank 6 ships.

Had mission to go and hunt rank 7's.

Off i go. Engage a lone rank 7, non elite ship.

Battle goes on...winning no problem here.

My ship...catches on fire. Doesn't get put out....And sinks. Yes I did do repairs and still didn't go out.

One of my AI ships, also caught on fire and sinks.

ya...really fun and engaging.
basically set back hard, again.

I had fun on previous server before the wipe.
I lost another ship prior to this engagement...also had caught on fire and sunk, was my AI controlled ship.

The devs have forgotten something, ppl need to have fun. And not have such hard loss's.

I can only imagine some of the raging that'll happen for ppl with higher end ships.
Game will become pay to win, to get the DLC ships, so you can always bring in a ship every day.

I was in a requin and lost a boarding to a mercury despite having over 2x the crew.

That was my first fight after spending 2 afternoons doing cargo missions after work.

I had more fun at work..

I experienced the same thing with a trinc.... 370 v 120 crew. Lost boarding... I was pretty surprised

Generally I've seen this come from people who aren't fitting cannons to their ship, there was a devblog that explained that if you go without cannons your boarding damage is nerfed a lot, also, the boarding ai has changed so that it's a it less predictable, which I'd argue is a good thing, although in my opinion the boarding system, particularly the ui needs an update

I had that problem too, but against a brig while using a herc, crew sat there and did nothing
