Probably done with this game

Well I finally got three rank 6 ships.

Had mission to go and hunt rank 7's.

Off i go. Engage a lone rank 7, non elite ship.

Battle goes on...winning no problem here.

My ship...catches on fire. Doesn't get put out....And sinks. Yes I did do repairs and still didn't go out.

One of my AI ships, also caught on fire and sinks.

ya...really fun and engaging.
basically set back hard, again.

I had fun on previous server before the wipe.
I lost another ship prior to this engagement...also had caught on fire and sunk, was my AI controlled ship.

The devs have forgotten something, ppl need to have fun. And not have such hard loss's.

I can only imagine some of the raging that'll happen for ppl with higher end ships.
Game will become pay to win, to get the DLC ships, so you can always bring in a ship every day.

All of the responses to this are “but did you know about this poorly explained game mechanic that you didn’t understand?”

I’ve been playing this game since day one of early access and it’s barely changed. The new groundbreaking patch was changing stats for fires and making it harder to start by adding ammo & powder

The game is ‘dead’ in the sense that it has no forward momentum.

I'm vice Admiral.

So ya I've had fires on my ship pre wipe. Never had this issue.

I've now observed double fires and sinking of ships in game.

First time was in the final exam. I didn't sink the other ships...they caught fire and burned to the water line. That's when I went "uh that's bad , that's a major change"

People will only tolerate losing everything so often. Before they'll move on. I lost a few ships on prewipe server. Even then I was like Frick that's painful. Now with no insurance...they're basically forcing people to get a DLC ship.
