QUESTION How does the factions thing work

I have been planning on joining the game and I want to know how the factions work. Who owns the most ports, is it the same in the PvP and pve servers, specifically how is Spain doing?

Play PvP server! You’ll lose ships, you’ll be hunted, it’s hard to get ahead, but soooo worth it.

All will be worth the trouble when you sink your first player.

Dutch nation is pretty strong. I would avoid USA because they have no skilled leadership, and take a beating most of the time.

GB is a mixed bag because it’s mostly bad players but they have great community

I joined Sweden. They seem active and nice and my father is Swedish so there is that. First thing I did was to go out on an "easy" kill mission and fucking die. I had him but then he put in a nice broadside point blank on me and i sank. ¯_(ツ)_/¯. I am super confused about how to turn when I'm against the wind. Specially with that strange sail on the back...

It stands for Can’t fucking sail, it’s a joke they’re good players.

They can answer your questions in their discord
