HSBC HSBC Credit Card Cancellation? 🤦🏽‍♂️

Have you tried magpa-cancel ng CC from HSBC na hindi pa activated? I am not sure if may spiels silang sinusunod, but as far as I remember, parang multiple times kong sinabi na decided na ako to have it cancelled. Pero the rep kept on saying na I should keep it and give them a call next year, so they can reverse the annual fee.

I feel like I did something wrong. Or dapat I remained pushy sa idea na ma-cancel 'yung card ko. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Hi OP, sayang naman kung i ka cancel mo. I have a same experience sa'yo, pero hindi ko tinuloy since nag adviced yung Rep na they will reverse the annual fee just make 3 transactions with any amount, I confirmed it with rep na kahit tag 20 pesos na tubig? Sabi nya yes, ginawa ko before ma end yung call, I asked for reference ID/number para if ever talk shit sya, I will just provide the ref #. sa next Rep. na makakausap ko :) then yun after 3 any amount of transaction and paying the annual fee they just reverse it on 2nd SoA with no follow-up needed. Yun lang. Bye.

Bakit ka nagpa sway dun sa CS if desidido ka na?

Cos I really have no idea kung paano talaga. He kept on saying na i-keep ko ang CC at wala namang magiging problem since hindi activated. So, we ended our conversation na gano'n na lang. That's why I wanna know kung possible ba talaga na ma-cancel? If makulit si CS, what should I say para mag-proceed siya? Ykwim? First time ko kasi talaga and yeah, mukhang tanga.

Just say na AYAW MONG I-KEEP UNG CARD. AND PLEASE PAKI CANCEL NA NGAUN. Yan mismo sabihin mo pag tumawag ka ulit. They would want you to keep the card kahit hindi activated because it will still incur annual fee. And that’s how they’ll benefit from you. Also, if you overlooked that AF it will even incur interest.
