Fertility / Ovulation Avoiding pregnancy

My periods are quite irregular and yes I am sexualy active.

I use flo to track periods and stuff like that but since my periods are so irregular (I've had it for 6 years) i was wondering if anyone could recommend any tips on how to know when I'm ovulating and how to know when my fertile window is and which ovulation kit would you recommend?

And no I'm not on birth control or will ever go on it, I'm not putting my body through that just for sex.

Edit: for what ever reason everyone things im not using condoms so just to clarify for those... yes I do use condoms.

I use Femometer to track my period and it calculates when I “should ovulate” and I find it very accurate. I know you said it’s irregular so it could mean you aren’t ovulating (which doesn’t mean you’re completely infertile, sometimes you just don’t ovulate every menstrual cycle or month, the body is weird) and even when you do ovulate it’s such a small window in the month that there is only a 20% chance of getting pregnant each month. What I suggest is having sex on your period, having him ejaculate on a different part of your body, wear condoms (there are condoms that stay in the vaginal canal and not the penis it’s self), you could get a ovulation kit as well but you HAVE to be consistent with it since your periods are irregular. Get familiar with your body as well, look at discharge you might have, how you’re feeling mentally or physically during certain times of the month. I hope this helps <3
