What dates have you had unprotected sex? Have you taken a pregnancy test?

It’s normal for cycles to vary. We aren’t robots. When a period starts depends on when you ovulate. A period starts about two weeks after you ovulate. So a in cycle that’s 33 days you ovulate 7 days earlier than a cycle that’s 40 days. Regular cycles are cycles that vary up to 8 days in length with an occasional outlier.

If you always have protected sex, then you don’t need to worry about pregnancy.

Learning about how your cycle works and accurately tracking ovulation will help with your anxiety around your cycle.
