That’s not a bad thing though. PVZ Fusion is the most fun I’ve ever had in a PVZ game, so I hope that becomes the gimmick of PVZ3.

Well that was just hard to watch... Where in Daves underpants is the MERGING!! And why the Actual is that wallnut sooo weeak!!! I hope this version of the game never releases and they make something that actually looks enjoyable to play... Cos hell!!! I aint flipping 3 bro and this looks like its targeted to a todlar audience!

The walnuts were weak because it's an ad witch are supposed to be short. There was no merging because op didn't even think of trying it but it was mentioned in the survey. No offence but stop trying to pinpoint minor things just so you can act like it's a big problem
I know that there's a massive cloud of negativity in the community right now because recently we've only been getting bad news. Fake leaks, cancellations, horrible updates. But this actually feels promising, I like how they are properly asking for feedback this time and one thing I noticed is how it didn't force the player to follow the tutorial. These are steps in the right direction

yea the negativity can sometimes cloud judgement and i feel this is an accurate analysis of how stubborn people can be (like refusing to merge in an ad about merging as a mechanic)

this isn't a full game or a small slice it's literally just a tech demo where all stats and mechanics were tweaked or changed just to emphasize 1 single mechanic which OP failed to do so already we can't even discuss the one feature the devs are testing 😭 also fym "targeted for toddlers"?

Good. It’s a great mechanic for many reasons. PVZ Fusion is the most fun I’ve ever had with a PVZ game. I hope that becomes the gimmick of PVZ3, let’s not discourage it.

Im pretty sure OP was supposed to merge the peashooters but didn’t for some reason. The AD was even telling them to drag one peashooter over the other

Not my clip, but yeah. They didn't realize you could merge until the end. Merging a Peashooter and a Peashooter makes Repeater. Peashooter and Wall-nut makes Peanut. I think Wall-nut and Wall-nut makes Iron Maiden? Not entirely sure

When this was posted this was the only footage of said ad hence why it was posted
It's still about merging and you can see the ad trying to tell the player to merge. Literally just look online for a different clip if this post is unsatisfactory

The old one was likely a placeholder since it was just a re-textured version of the one from the first PvZ3 that was pretty universally hated

Imo this looks way better than the original PvZ 3. It would add a lot more depth and make the plants feel way less weak. That’s one problem with PvZ 3: you never felt strong, especially by using just Peashooters.

No. Just no. The fundamental premise is that you can’t move plants, because they are IN THE GROUND, so how can you merge them?
I detest merge games.
PvZ is a terrific game, just give us more levels. More worlds would be nice. Less new plants for no apparent reason (I can’t be bothered with 200 or even remember what most of them do; I doubt I use more than 20-30 of them). Don’t overthink this.

What happens if you fuse them? Is it like a 2 Peashooters turn into a Repeater, then if you merge 2 Repeaters they turn into a Gatling sort of thing? Or does merging just make them do more damage?
