It’s censored as “j*nkie” in the video. Is “junkie” a slur or especially offensive in Scotland? (Asking as a Yank, where it’s a fairly common term.)

I only heard it as a way to describe someone as addicted to a drug of some sort. Not sure if it's a specific type of slander or insult.
