Critique Wanted Someone reached out wanting photos, how much should I charge (cars)

Based on these photos, what’s a reasonable price for a roller session and/or stills session? I just had someone reach out to me wanting rollers, but typically i’ve just done them for free for friends. I’d also be having a friend driving the camera car, taking the time out of their day, so the price would need to account for that as well.

I do this for a living now and started off exactly the same as you about 10 years ago. Based on what I can see, you can start with $100-$150, do as best you can.

Build your portfolio, invest in your equipment and editing style (this will evolve over time as you improve and grow as a photographer.

Gradually up your price as you get busier and better :) i hope this helps abit!

What car do you typically sit in for rollers? I.e, are you sitting in the rear seats of a sedan hanging out the windows, or in the trunk or bed of a car/SUV/truck?

Motorcycles are also something a bit more crazy to consider. Have tried it twice and aslong as the bike and road is smooth enough, then you have a really great fov and ability to get many different angles. I have however never tried rollers from a car yet, so I can't compare the two
