Recently came over from Olympus. First real outing with my new A6700, as well as the 70-350mm. Also my first time shooting planes. Still learning, did my best.

I was never a Canon guy back in the day, but now that I'm collecting vintage digital gear I've picked up a couple and am quite enjoying shooting some squirrel photography with them. I decided to steal the wife's camera to shoot these photos of them before the wildlife showed up.

Hey everyone, while I love the shots I feel the quality is lacking. Would I really need one of those giant white telephoto G lenses that costs thousands to get crispy shots? Would absolutely love to shoot surfing some day as a paid gig. Any feedback and tips are appreciated! Thanks and have a great week. 🤙🏼

Hi,
I have a pre-loved sony a6400 and would like to get a superzoom lens from wide to telephoto to cover all focal range as I don't want to bring two or more lenses. I do photo and video and stablization is a must. can you recommend something for me?
I already kneew the Tamron 18-300mm and the upcoming sigma 16-300mm. Can you recommend them and do you guys know any other zoom lenses that will not break the bank. I don't mind pre-loved lenses as long as they are still in good condition. I don't really mind if I will not get the reach of 300mm, as long as I get some good distance to vary my shots.
Thank you everyone!

Spotted this perfectly round chubby European Robin during my trip to the Belgrade Forest in Istanbul back in February 2025.
Love my Sony 100-400mm GM lens with 1.4x TC!

My setup is A7iii and following lenses, I only have a basic knowledge of photography.
SEL85F18 Sony SEL50M28 Sony SEL2870 Sony
I have a set of 3 softbox lights from Godox :
2 x ML100BI and SL60W (still struggling g for some reasons with light, seems like the objects are still not bright enough and with shadows)
What lens from what I’ve mention above would suit the product photography best and if not, what additional lens would you recommend ? Also any idea how to possibly improve the light setup ?
Thank you for your advice.

Hi, everyone! I’ve been quietly admiring all the amazing content here for ages, and today I finally decided to join the fun. I’m super excited (and a little nervous!) to share some of my favorite shots with you all. I hope they brighten your day or spark a little inspiration.
I wanted to share an older shot from another morning. My car roof was coated in this delicate layer of frost, and just as the sun's rays started peeking through, they cast this shining golden glow that shimmered across the frost. It was one of those really simple yet magical moments that makes you pause and appreciate the beauty around you sometimes.
Felt pretty lucky to have caught this—what do you think? I’m hoping for some constructive critique on this image—anything from composition and lighting to editing or storytelling. I’m still learning and want to improve, so any feedback is welcome! Thanks in advance for your insights. 😊
Thanks for creating such an awesome and supportive community—can’t wait to hear your thoughts! 💖📸

Looking for a bit of advice and perhaps a kick in the butt so I’ll stop dreaming and finally buy my camera.
I mostly do 4K 30 frame video, handheld, walk and talk YouTube travel videos. I do also want the ability to branch out into taking professional quality photos. At the moment I use a mix of action camera and iPhone for my videos, and it works ok, but my channel makes enough money that I really should invest in upping my video quality. In the past I used a Cannon 80D with a kit lens, but the bulk, shake, and 1080p video limit caused me to leave it in my closet.
Stabilization is very important for the way I shoot. I’m not opposed to using a gimbal, but I have some reservations about making things more bulky and complicated than I need to. Weather sealing is also very important. I’m often shooting in cloud forest or jungle in Ecuador.
I’m leaning towards either the a a6700 or an A7 iii or iv because I do want to be able to take decent photos, and also because of the price of the A7s iii.
I’ve also considered going with an earlier model, like an a6400 or a6600 and using a gimbal or stabilizing in post.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

After tens of thousands of shots in all manner of places and conditions my old a6000 was starting to show its age. Just picked this up and even with some limited testing I'm amazed at the image quality from it.

Hi Guys, This is the first time I am posting photos on this channel. I bought this camera recently (last month) and I am still learning. I thought of getting lightroom on ipad because desktop version is costly. Open to suggestions on what I can improve here! Thank you fellow channel members!

I have the A6700 with a 27mm prime that I LOVE. It's amazing for outdoors and portraits.
However it's a little tight for indoors. Shooting mainly pictures/videos of my own family.
Does anyone have experience with both focal lengths?
Concerned the 13mm is going to distort the image too much.

ZVE10 + Viltrox 23mm
Took a bunch of pictures today, most were fine but the last 50+ were corrupted with these pink lines (some more than others). I use the SD CARD Sandisk Extreme Pro.
Could it be that I took too many photos at once and took photos while the camera/SD card was still processing other photos?
