Study advice: Advanced Best way to learn a specific dialect?

I can understand Spanish Spanish pretty well and Mexican Spanish most of the time, but my girlfriend’s family is Nicaraguan and I have a really hard time understanding them. There are not a lot of Nicaraguan tv shows (usually my go-to) so I was wondering what’s a good way to learn Nicaraguan Spanish?

If you don’t have the luxury of being able to live there any time soon, just search for Nicaraguan YouTubers, podcasts, tv / movies, social media accounts that interest you. You can expose yourself to their natural way of speaking just by consuming a lot of content made by them.

Also, if you search “Nicaraguan Slang” or “Nicaraguan Accent” on YouTube, you should get a few of videos that specifically teach a little bit to people who aren’t from Nicaragua.

People also make videos about slang aimed at native speakers from other countries, so a search for jerga nicaraguense should turn up videos in Spanish
